SHK Staite Henningsen Klein Executive Recruitment, Melbourne

  • An initial audit was undertaken of the existing office to determine existing light levels and raise any code compliance issues that were evident.

  • Initial assessment revealed inconsistent light levels, glary conditions and numerous dark spots which were contributing to employee discomfort. Existing luminaires consisted of discharge downlights and T8 fluorescents.

  • Several solutions were proposed, one of which used new LED downlights and new generation T5 lamps.

  • Lucid’s modelling assisted to:

- Prove the effectiveness of LED lighting over conventional lighting.
- Provide more even and comfortable illumination of the tenancy.
- Reduce ongoing costs attributed to lamp replacement and energy consumption.
- Decrease carbon footprint.
