The All-Electric Healthy Hospitals: A Cost-Benefit Analysis report, developed by Healthy Futures with technical input from Lucid, examines the potential costs and benefits of electrifying public hospitals across Australia. The report identifies opportunities to reduce energy costs, strengthen infrastructure resilience and lower emissions, while recommending further feasibility studies to better understand outcomes across different hospital environments.

The report was co-authored by Bob Wilson, Lucid’s National Leader Energy & Sustainability, who worked closely with Healthy Futures over a two-year period to support the development of the report and its underlying analysis. His contribution included leading the technical and economic assessment of hospital electrification pathways and developing the cost-benefit analysis that informed the report’s findings.
