Children’s Court No. 4 and Prisoner Interview Refurbishment

The project involved the upgrade, refurbishment and enlargement of the Children’s Courtroom No. 4 and associated prisoner interview areas in Western Australia.

Lucid was appointed to the project by the Department of Justice via Programmed Facility Management (PFM) in 2014.

The scope for the project included electrical, communications, lighting, security, audio visual, mechanical and hydraulic services. All works were carried out behind secure building hoarding areas with minimisation of contractor movement through public areas.

All engineering design, construction and commissioning roles were carried out by Lucid, as well as project management and super intendent duties.
