Lenswood Cold Stores Review – Fire and Life Safety Remediation Works

The project involved developing a Fire and Life Safety Master Plan for the Lenswood Cold Stores site outside of Adelaide.

Lenswood Cold Stores Co-Operative is one of the largest apple packing and storing facilities in South Australia and has been operating for over 85 years. The Master Plan provides an assessment of the existing building, as well as the proposed future development, with respect to the applicable fire and life safety requirements of the Building Code of Australia (BCA) and the challenges presented by older buildings.

The Master Plan was developed in conjunction with Lenswood Cold Stores Co-Operative Society Ltd and Adelaide Hills Council Building Fire Safety Committee (BSFC), to ensure that the solutions and schedule meet the requirements of both parties.
