Tatiara Civic Centre and Art Gallery Redevelopment

The redevelopment of the Tatiara Civic Centre provided upgraded theatre and hall facilities, an extension to the art gallery and library as well as unified the three existing buildings with a new foyer.

Lucid provided the building services engineering for the $10M project, including the following works:

• Air conditioning and ventilation systems including gallery standard environmental control for the exhibition space.
• Lighting, electronic security, access control equipment and exit and emergency lighting to meet particular requirements of the individual spaces.
• Water reticulation system and drainage including rainwater.
• New lift.

The environmental control to the gallery enables international exhibitions to be displayed, which is a unique feature for this remote region. Precise temperature and humidity control is delivered by a simple and elegant design solution which can also be remotely monitored for maintenance and tuning purposes.
