Daniel leads operations for Lucid’s core engineering team, with over 15 years of experience across complex and large-scale engineering projects and programs of work. His approach is grounded in early-stage risk identification and concept clarity — working closely with clients to shape outcomes from the start. Daniel gets energised when working with clients that are passionate about realising their objectives and working as a team to find a way forward.

Since joining Lucid in 2008, Daniel has progressed from an undergraduate engineer to Director. Daniel has revelled in the opportunities to support Lucid’s growth from around 30 people when joining, to becoming a national brand with over 350 people. Highlights along the way include founding Lucid’s largest sector in Defence and delivering critical projects to support our Defence capability such as submarine test facilities and indigenous radar capabilities. Daniel has also enjoyed the opportunity to support the development of emerging professionals, with many of his early recruits now being owners and leaders of Lucid in their own right.
