Lucid was engaged by Freedom Aged Care to audit and upgrade essential infrastructure across 11 aged care sites in metropolitan Victoria. These sites ranged from boutique residences to large-scale communities offering assisted living and support services.
Our role included compliance and condition audits across electrical, hydraulic, and fire systems — followed by design and documentation for targeted infrastructure upgrades.
Freedom Aged Care needed a partner who could deliver critical upgrades across multiple sites without disrupting daily operations. Each site had different layouts, legacy systems, and infrastructure constraints — and all remained live and occupied throughout the project.
Works also needed to be carefully programmed to align with staged capital investment plans, balancing urgency, safety, and budget across the portfolio.
