LUCID CONSULTING GROUP LIMITED (ABN 83 617 410 483) (“Lucid”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and disclose it, and how you can access or correct your personal information.
We comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

B. Information We Collect

We may collect:

  • Name, role, company, contact details
  • Enquiry details and correspondence
  • Website usage data (IP address, browser type, pages visited)
  • Recruitment information (if you apply for a role)

We only collect what is reasonably necessary for our business purposes.

C. How We Collect It

  • Automatically through cookies or analytics tools
  • From trusted third parties such as recruitment agencies or public sources (where appropriate)

D. Why We Collect It

We collect and use information to:

E. Direct Marketing and Opt-Out

Lucid only sends marketing communications in accordance with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) and APP 7. Each marketing message identifies Lucid as the sender and includes an unsubscribe option. We act on unsubscribe requests within five business days.

F. Cross-Border Data Handling

If we store or process personal information overseas (for example, via cloud or analytics providers), we take reasonable steps to ensure that those providers comply with Australian privacy standards.

G. Security

We protect personal information through access controls, encryption, monitoring, and staff training. However, no online service can be entirely secure — please contact us if you have concerns.

H. Retention and Deletion

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for business or legal requirements. When no longer needed, it is securely deleted or anonymised.

I. Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB)

If we suspect an eligible data breach that could result in serious harm, we will assess the situation promptly. Where required, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

J. Children’s Privacy

Our website is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
