Australia’s pharmaceutical supply chain is critical but often stretched. Noumed’s new facility needed to meet stringent production and safety standards, support future growth, and strengthen national manufacturing capability. That meant integrating complex systems while navigating competing priorities across developer, builder, and operator requirements.
Lucid embedded early with all three clients shaping a shared understanding of needs, constraints, and opportunities. By co-designing with stakeholders, we helped align ambitions and streamline decision-making across a technically demanding brief.
We delivered a fully integrated suite of building services across electrical (low and high voltage), mechanical, hydraulic, fire protection, and fire safety systems. Key features included:

Once operational, the 26,000 m² facility will enable high-volume production of both prescription and over-the-counter medicines. It boosts domestic capability, reduces reliance on offshore suppliers, and contributes to a more secure and sustainable health system for Australia.
