Lucid led the infrastructure uplift from planning through to detailed design and delivery, working closely with DDHHS and eHITS stakeholders through weekly brief definition workshops and into coordination meetings.
Recognising the volume and complexity of drawing updates across both the Toowoomba CBD and Baillie Henderson campuses, we developed a streamlined drawing strategy that allowed real-world data — collected via site inspections and 3D scanning — to translate directly into up-to-date, buildable documentation.
We also led staging and decanting planning across hospital services, ensuring minimal disruption during upgrades. The need was identified for a decant ward to be constructed as modular construction to enable the roll out of works whilst maintaining patient safety.
