UNSW needed to assess options for replacing two aging chillers serving the Wallace Wurth Building — a large, high-performance lab facility. Rather than approach the task in isolation, Lucid proposed a whole-building energy audit to ensure chiller sizing and configuration reflected true operational demands and delivered maximum long-term efficiency.
Lucid applied our proven energy auditing methodology to assess the building’s full energy profile. This included deep data collection, close collaboration with mechanical and BMS contractors, and engagement with facilities staff to accurately map operational patterns.
