Australian Grain Technologies Plant Breeding, Grain Research and Development Facility 

Lucid provided specialist building services engineering for the new Australian Grain Technologies Plant Breeding, Grain Research and Development Facility in Roseworthy, SA.

The facility includes:

• Controlled Growth Facility – BC2 Certified, including two growth rooms with HEPA filtration and associated laboratory.
• Controlled Environment Facility including six independently controlled environment rooms.
• Greenhouse including six controllable environment (light, rainfall, temperature, humidity, cloud cover) facilities.
• Main support building including office accommodation and laboratory spaces.

Lucid completed the mechanical, electrical, communications, physical containment, security, hydraulic, fire services and energy management for the $25M project.
