Nick Mulvany


Nick joined Lucid in June 2018 to provide national leadership and technical capability enhancement to our Sustainability and Energy Services team. In September 2019, he was promoted to Associate based in our Melbourne office.

With over 13 years’ experience in building services and sustainability, Nick is a built environment sustainability specialist. Comprehensive and broad technical knowledge of sustainable design, regulatory requirements, energy demand behaviour of buildings, renewable energy and energy management systems, sustainability, analytical analysis methods and materials life cycle assessment, Nick provides high-quality consultancy to achieve sustainability outcomes.

He is one of Australia’s most experienced commercial consultants with the ‘Passivhaus’ low-energy design standard and has significant implementation knowledge of energy technology solutions including PV renewable energy systems, energy storage, demand response and utility management systems. Nick seeks to achieve holistic sustainability outcomes which are pragmatic and robust, avoiding unnecessary complexity and operational maintenance implications.
