Pat Daly

Regional Leader ACT

Pat Daly is the Regional Leader for the ACT and has a background in Air Force air traffic control and defence projects. Since 2007, he has held various managerial roles in building services consulting, including project director, quality manager, HR manager, and administrative manager. 

As a design manager, Pat has specialised in overseeing large, complex projects that involve multiple technical sub-consultants. His portfolio includes mostly defence and other government mission-critical and secure facilities, including data centres and generating systems, as well as hospitals, schools, and a host of commercial offices. 

A strong advocate for professional development, Pat places a significant focus on training, particularly in project management, adopting the philosophy of “See one. Do one. Teach one.”  Above all, he emphasises the importance of teamwork and coordination, ensuring that these values are at the core of every project he leads.
