MEDIA RELEASE
COMMENCEMENT OF JARRAD CLIFT AS CEO OF LUCID CONSULTING AUSTRALIA
1 JULY 2019
Commencing 1 July 2019, Jarrad Clift will assume the role of CEO for Lucid.
Jarrad joined Lucid in 2005 as an engineering graduate, rising through the company to Senior Engineer, Associate, Director and Board appointment in 2015. He has been responsible for creation of Lucid Projects Australia, development of the Perth office, successful entrance into the Defence Sector and commencement of the Sydney office.
The appointment of Jarrad Clift to the CEO role was endorsed by predecessor Anthony Di Marzo and unanimously ratified by the board – as outlined in the media release on 1 March 2019.
Anthony held the role of CEO from 2012 to June 2019, after joining the company in 2004 and becoming a Director in 2006. During his time as CEO, Anthony has planned and delivered our national footprint, delivering an endearing and sustainable brand for Lucid. It has been a remarkable phase of growth for Lucid and is testament to Anthony’s success in the CEO role.
“Anthony has been exceptional in the CEO role, and he will continue to be a key Lucid leader. I am fortunate to be guided by such a genuine and passionate professional,” stated Jarrad.
From July, Anthony will remain in the Melbourne office moving to a Director role within Lucid focusing on clients, strategic projects and staff development.
Since commencing in 2000, Lucid has established offices in Sydney, Perth, Melbourne, Darwin, Canberra, Brisbane, Alice Springs and Adelaide, with a professional staff base approaching 200.
Jarrad’s CEO appointment coincides with the release of a new Strategic Plan which will guide Lucid’s operations over the next four years. The Strategic Plan is a product from months of collaboration with over a quarter of the company’s staff, and describes Lucid’s new business vision, core values and goals for the future.
“Our vision is to be Australia’s most forward thinking, agile and influential engineers and asset advisors. I am committed to delivering our clients this future with Lucid,” stated Jarrad.
